Premcote 1500 Tropical is an anti-corrosion tape for long-term corrosion protection.
Premcote 1500 Tropical has a PVC backing coated with rubber-modified bitumen.
Uses:
- Premcote 1500 Tropical is used for the long-term protection of large-diameter pipelines or in heavy soils where there is high risk of soil stress or damage
- Premcote 1500 Tropical is applied over Premcote Primer by wrapping spirally around the pipe
- Service Temperature: -20°C to +85°C
Characteristics:
- Resistant to cathodic disbondment, and
- Resistant to acid, alkali and salts
- Suitable for use in heavy soils
- Suitable for use where damage risk is high
- Quick and easy to apply
